BalletMet Columbus' Dance Academy Scholarship Programs offer students in the Central Ohio area opportunities for quality dance education and training. Scholarships require an audition and/or teacher recommendation and must be renewed annually based upon review of criteria.

• Discover Dance Scholarships: Exclusively for students 8-11 years of age entering the BalletMet Dance Academy for the first time.
• Dare To Be Moved Scholarships: Partially to fully funded tuition scholarships for students 9-18 years of age.
• Merit Scholarships: Fully funded tuition scholarships based on exceptional potential and aptitude for professional careers in dance. Mentorship Program.

Each type of Scholarship Program has different levels of funding and requirements. If a student is offered a scholarship for dance study at BalletMet's Dance Academy, they will be required to adhere to guidelines listed within the Scholarship Letter of Agreement. All categories may require an audition and/or teacher recommendation and must be renewed yearly based upon review of criteria.

Dance Academy Scholarship Supervision
A three-person Committee oversees the Program with support of Scholarship Coordinator: Academy Director, Academy Managing Director and Director of Education.

Internships
An educational program that brings high school seniors and college students into the workplace for 6-12 weeks for eight hours per week. Offered free of charge. Call 614.229.4860 ext. 135 or e-mail. Applicants should submit a resume and letter of application for consideration.

Performance Conversations
In the theatre for select performances
Pre- and post-performance conversations in the theatre with artistic staff, guest choreographers, dancers, and other special guests that enlighten audience members about the evening's performance in a casual format. Offered 30 minutes before or immediately following select performances. A must for dance lovers! Admission included with purchase of ticket.
