DANCEREACH RESIDENCIES
connect students, professional artists, classroom teachers and the community. Students study the elements of dance, engage in movement activities, and reflect upon the process. All residencies integrate Ohio Department of Education content dance standards and are specially designed for participating schools.

Costs depend upon the length and scope of the residency. Residencies require a gym, stage or multi-purpose room with an AC outlet, CD player and a clean, mopped floor. Teacher supervision required.

These exciting 45-minute programs with narration and audience participation are lively ways to introduce students to dance in an informal setting. Free informance study guides are provided prior to presentations.
BalletMet Company
BalletMet Dancers present a program about ballet that focuses on the athleticism and expression of the art form of dance. $800 for one show. (Limited Availability. Space requirements-no concrete or tile floors-call for more information and details.)
YouthMet, the student performing ensemble from BalletMet's Dance Academy offers dynamic, engaging and educational dance performances for the community. Programs include:
Window on the World
A multicultural exploration which showcases a variety of dances from different cultures and history.
Moving into Literacy
Program that focuses on the elements of dance and how they relate to literacy. A variety of dance styles are presented.
NEW! Buckeyeroo Holiday
Life in the sleepy town of Columbus moves at a slower pace until Buckeye Slim appears. Big Brutis' daughter, Vivien, dreams of life outside of Columbus as she works in the Horseshoe Cafe. She is enamored with Buckeye Slim and his tales of his travels, even though she is supposed to marry Luke. Suddenly, the Wolverine gang rides into town and trouble starts. Who will save the day?
Programs Available: October - November and January - May
Cost is $355 or $575 for a back-to-back informance. Additional fees may be charged due to mileage/travel.
Buckeyeroo Holiday: $500 due to transportation of scenery
BALLETMET
MOMENTUM
A program for fourth and fifth grade students that engages them in movement, music, choreography, performance--and so much more.
Momentum uses dance as a springboard to help children develop excellence, discipline and self-confidence. All classes integrate ODE's Dance Content Standards. Throughout the academic year, classes are held weekly during the school day. Students present a mid-year lecture/demonstration in their school gym and a year-end performance on stage.
