Lauren Kot

From Howell, MI, Lauren Kot began dancing at age four under the instruction of Ginny Durrow.  She continued her training in Springboro, OH under Freddie Fourie, Laura Baker and Olivia Fisher before joining BalletMet as a trainee at age 15.  Lauren has performed in BalletMet’s company productions of Gerard Charles’ The Nutcracker, Edwaard Liang’s Sleeping Beauty, and Edwaard Liang’s Romeo and Juliet, as well as understudying roles in George Balanchine’s Serenade and Michael Pink’s Peter Pan. Lauren has furthered her training with The Glenda Brown Choreography Project, the USC Ballet Conservatory, and with scholarships to summer programs at Orlando Ballet and Kansas City Ballet.
