Susan Powers has taught ballet in Columbus for more than 30 years. Ms. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Butler University and a Master of Arts Education from The Ohio State University.
Her dance education training covers a variety of ballet techniques including RAD, Vaganova and ABT. Having a firm understanding of educational development has helped Ms. Powers cater her classroom plans to early childhood dance studies. In addition to teaching ballet, she has also taught high school art for more than 40 years and enjoys taking adult ballet classes at BalletMet.
