Alex Phillips
Alex Phillips started her journey at BalletMet as a student 15 years ago. Her love for tap began when she was five when she watched tap classes from the door of the studio. Although Alex participated in all forms of dance, tap is the form that stuck with her. She went on to teacher-assist in tap classes for five years where she discovered her love for teaching. In Alex’s senior year of high school she began working with BalletMet to teach her own classes. Her love for tap and teaching grew infinitely more. In addition to tap and teaching, Alex is pursuing a degree in American Sign Language interpreting at Columbus State.
