Annika Russo is as an accomplished dancer and physical therapist. Her early training began at the Rockford Dance Company in Illinois, where she earned principal dancer roles, and from where she studied with a full scholarship at the School of the American Ballet. She attended Butler University, earning her BA in Dance Pedagogy. Annika continued her education by earning an MPT from Drexel University where she trained dancers of the Pennsylvania Ballet; actors, dancers, and puppeteers on Broadway shows through Performing Arts Physical Therapy; and dancers and guest artists of the Rockford Dance Company. She worked at The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago where she was a respected neuro-rehabilitation clinician and clinical educator. After relocating to Columbus, Annika has trained dancers, gymnasts, and ice skaters to meet and exceed their goals through wellness, injury prevention, and technique modification. She lives in Dublin with her husband, three children, and hound dog.
