Dance and Fitness Classes

Our drop-in Dance and Fitness Classes are for the casual learner and/or fitness enthusiast. We have offerings in various dance styles for teens and adults who’d like a more relaxed studio environment, as well as fitness classes for those looking to work up a sweat. Not sure if Dance and Fitness classes are for you? Give it a try, your first class is free!

Classes begin August 28, 2017. Classes are subject to change.

Class Cards

To attend Dance and Fitness classes, you’ll need to purchase a class card. Class cards are used every time you attend a Dance and Fitness class (excluding your first class). Class cards can be purchased online or in person at BalletMet for 1, 5, 10 or 20 classes.

Build and strengthen the body while taking a healthful, guided approach to technique. Start with Ballet Fundamentals, a five-week session, which will repeat after each session ends, designed to teach you the very basics of ballet. All skill levels welcome.

Ballet Barre and More

Sixty minutes of toning and tightening workouts for the full body, done right at the barre. Build strength and length with ballet-inspired movement. Students must bring a mat, hand weights (1-2 lbs) and a mini-stability ball. Some weeks students will use extra-long thera-bands, which are for sale at the front desk of BalletMet. It’s also suggested students bring a blanket or towel. All skill levels welcome.
