Troy Game (1990)

Choreography: Robert North
Staged by: Julian Moss
Music: Batacuda
Costume design: Peter Farmer
Lighting: Howell Binkley
Costume construction: Sandra Woodall

A witty, demandingly athletic dance for eight men, set to the infectious rhythms of Brazilian Batacuda. Choreographed on the London Contemporary Dance Theatre in 1975, it incorporates imagery and elements from the martial arts and body building as it takes a tongue-in-cheek look at male machismo.
