Christina Holmes

Teaching Artist

Christina Holmes is a 500 hour registered yoga teacher with specialized training in mindfulness, trauma-informed practices, and pre/postnatal yoga. She has been teaching yoga since 2019 and is currently studying to become a certified yoga therapist.

Before becoming a full-time yoga teacher, Christina spent 15 years as an elementary and middle school educator. She first introduced yoga to her students and quickly saw the positive impact—less impulsivity, more calm, and greater compassion. That moment sparked a passion for bringing yoga into classrooms.

Christina’s teaching style is down-to-earth, accessible, and rooted in real-life application. Her classes blend breathwork, mindfulness, movement, and guided relaxation. She believes yoga can help students build emotional awareness, reduce stress, and feel more connected to themselves—on and off the mat.

Outside of teaching, Christina is the primary caregiver for her mother and loves helping others find healing and presence through yoga.
