Morning at the Ballet

More than 10,000 children a year witness the enchantment of BalletMet’s Morning at the Ballet. Join children from around central Ohio for these engaging field trips designed to introduce students to dance and theater. Reserved for elementary, middle and high school groups, Morning at the Ballet gives students an up-close look at a BalletMet performance in a theatre setting.

Open to school groups with students 4½-18 years old.

Night and Day: A Collection of Short Ballets

The versatility and complexity of dance will be on display with Night & Day: A Collection of Short Ballets. The program includes three diverse ballets, ranging from classical to West African-inspired: Balanchine’s Serenade, Edwaard Liang’s Murmuration and Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena. $10 per person

The Nutcracker

Magic and enchantment fill the stage during this abridged version of The Nutcracker. Your students will enjoy highlights from Acts I and II, complete with beloved characters Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and Nutcracker Prince. $7.50 per person. Ticket prices increase to $10.00 per person after December 1st.
