Morning at the Ballet

More than 10,000 children a year witness the enchantment of BalletMet’s Morning at the Ballet. Join children from around central Ohio for these engaging field trips designed to introduce students to dance and theater. Reserved for elementary, middle and high school groups, Morning at the Ballet gives students an up-close look at a BalletMet performance in a theatre setting.

Parallel Connections

October 20 | Mershon Auditorium

$10 per person
Recommended for grades 7-12 only.

Unite through movement and music with Parallel Connections, a BalletMet collaboration with The Ohio State University Department of Dance and the Wexner Center for the Arts featuring works by Ohad Naharin, James Kudelka, William Forsythe and Merce Cunningham.

The Nutcracker

$7.50 per person. Prices increase to $10 per person after December 1.
Recommended for grades K-12.

Magic and enchantment fill the stage during this abridged version of The Nutcracker. Your students will enjoy highlights from Act I and II, complete with beloved characters Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Nutcracker Prince.

Dorothy & the Prince of Oz

Join Dorothy as she returns to Oz for new adventures with Glinda and Scarecrow. Dorothy and the Prince of Oz is a bold new ballet with original choreography by Edwaard Liang and stunning life-sized puppetry and scenery by Basil Twist, best-known for his work on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
