Cheridy “Dee” Saunders

Dee Saunders holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Music Therapy from Michigan State University in piano and woodwinds, where she marched in the MSU Spartan Marching Band in both the Color Guard and the Drumline. She has taught vocal music in the Columbus City, Pickerington, and Granville Schools and worked as an adjunct accompanist at Otterbein and Denison Universities and is now retired. She has worked as a musical theater director and accompanist, and served as the resident music director at Weathervane Playhouse. She is an arranger for many show choirs throughout Ohio, creating both vocal and instrumental arrangements for competition, and has worked as a clinician. She is the Music Arranger for the CAPA Marquee Awards, presented yearly in conjunction with the National Jimmy Awards.
