Megan Tedrick
Teaching Artist
Megan Tedrick is a dance educator from Columbus, Ohio. She has been on faculty for BalletMet’s Education department and Academy for their Children’s Division, Student Division, and Trainee Program since 2015; her teaching credits include creative movement, ballet, modern, jazz, and adult beginner ballet. She also holds her 600-hour Comprehensive Certification from Power Pilates and has been teaching the method since 2011. Megan earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance from Ohio University in 2012 and has returned to obtain her Master’s of Arts in Community Dance (projected graduation 2023) while teaching adjunct for the dance department. Most recently, Megan has presented her work on Inclusive Ballet Practices at the OhioDance Festival in 2021 and looks to expand her research on transdisciplinary dance programming as her Master’s capstone project.
