STUDENT Division, TRAINEE, AND ADULT OPEN CLASSES

Scott Brown brings close to 40 years of performing and teaching experience to the classroom. He received his training from Patricia German’s Ballet Workshop in Memphis and Petrus Bosman and Robert DiCello from the Academy of Arts.

His performance career began with Memphis Ballet, Washington Ballet with Choo San Goh, BalletMet under the leadership of John McFall, Gerard Charles, and David Nixon, and Nashville Ballet with Paul Vasterling. Scott continued his partnership with BalletMet guesting with the company under Artistic Directors Gerard Charles and Edwaard Liang. He has performed the works of James Kudelka, George Balanchine, Gerald Arpino, Choo San Goh, David Nixon, John McFall, Paul Taylor, Alwin Nikolais, Alonzo King, Ben Stevenson, Twyla Tharp, Salvatore Aiello, August Bournoville, Sir Fredrick Ashton, as well as dancing the Classic of Petipa’s Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Giselle, and of course The Nutcracker.
