Kristie Latham

KRISTIE LATHAM joined BalletMet in 2013. She has enjoyed performing roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, “Man I Love” in George Balanchine’s Who Cares?,  Red Angels, and “Russian Girl” in George Balanchine’s Serenade.

She has also performed works of choreographers Edwaard Liang, Justin Peck, Christopher Wheeldon, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Alexander Ekman, Matthew Neenan, Val Caniparoli, Mauro Bigonzetti, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, and James Kudelka.

Ms Latham trained at The Rock School for Dance Education as a full scholarship student under the direction of Bo and Stephanie Spassoff. She also trained at the Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Oleg Briansky and Mirelle Briane, The School of American Ballet, Kirov Ballet Academy, and American Ballet Theatre School. In 2007, she was a Top 12 Finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix Finals held in New York City.
