Originally from Leesburg, Va., Allison Perhach studied ballet at The Loudoun School of Ballet under the direction of Sharon Mercke and Maureen Miller. She graduated in 2016 from Indiana University with a degree in ballet performance with an outside field in arts management. She received a Premier Young Artist scholarship and was a Founders Scholar while at IU. Ms. Perhach fondly remembers working with Violette Verdy during her time as an IU professor, and she enjoyed performing the principal role in Balanchine’s Raymonda Variations and Rubies.
