Catherine Stoehr was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She grew up training at San Francisco Ballet School, was a Professional Division Student at Pacific Northwest Ballet, and danced in the Alonzo King Lines Ballet Training Program. While at PNB, she performed with the company in Kent Stowell’s production of Swan Lake and Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, as well as in numerous school productions. She was a guest apprentice with Dresden Semperoper Ballet for their production of Aaron Watkin’s The Sleeping Beauty. At Lines, she trained in a variety of contemporary dance techniques as well as working with a wide range of distinguished artists.
