Emily Luria

EMILY LURIA is originally from Mason, Ohio where she began her dance training with a local studio, Mason Dance Center. She then went on to finish her high school years training with Le Jeune Dance Academy under the direction of Steve Beirens and Hannah Dorfmueller.

In 2018, Emily was offered a scholarship with BalletMet’s trainee program and performed in several company productions during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons including Edwaard Liang’s Don Quixote, Cinderella, Tributary, and Alice in Wonderland.

She has also had opportunities to perform and rehearse principal and soloist roles for multiple productions within BalletMet’s trainee program. Throughout her training, she has attended summer programs with Cincinnati Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and BalletMet. After finishing her second year as a trainee, Emily will be a part of BalletMet’s second company for the 2020-2021 season.
