Favorite book: The entire Harry Potter series. I grew up with those books and every couple of years will reread the whole series because I love them so much. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve read them.
Surprising fact: I have the easiest birthday to remember. It’s on Valentine’s Day!

Caitlin Valentine-Ellis began her training in New Jersey before joining Orlando Ballet, led by Fernando Bujones, at age 16. She later danced at Colorado Ballet as a soloist. Throughout her career, Ms. Valentine-Ellis has performed numerous principal roles including Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella in Cinderella, Daisy in The Great Gatsby, The Survivor in Light/The Holocaust and Humanity Project, Lise in La Fille mal Gardee, Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Guinevere in Camelot, Dorothy in Dorothy and the Prince of Oz, and Giselle in Giselle and many other soloist roles. She has been featured in contemporary works by Val Caniparoli, Edwaard Liang, Matthew Neenan, Dwight Rhoden, Amy Siewert, Christopher Wheeldon and she has enjoyed performing Balanchine’s RubiesSerenade, Who Cares?, Allegro Brillante, Theme and Variations and Jerome Robbin’s Fancy Free. Her awards and honors include a Bronze Medal at the New York International Ballet Competition in 2003, Dance Magazine’s25 to Watch” in 2005, and a finalist and the Jury Award recipient at the USA International Ballet Competition in 2006. She has also enjoyed performing in national and international galas.
