BalletMet Public Health Update

Dear patrons, students and friends,

Like you, we are still very much trying to find our  footing amidst this ever-changing crisis, but we have put certain measures in place to ensure the safety and well being of our artists, staff, students and patrons.
As we receive new information, we promise to keep you updated on how we’re moving forward via email and on social media.
As our state continues to make recommendations and issue orders regarding public gatherings, the following updates are necessary to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
BalletMet Dance Academy will close, for at least 3 weeks pending further guidance. Academy families will be kept up to date via email with any new and pertinent information. Please reach out to with questions.
Performances of CARMEN.maquia will be postponed to next season.  All tickets will be honored and further information will be sent directly to all current ticket buyers via email. Contact our Box Office at with questions.
BalletMet’s company audition on March 22 in Columbus will be cancelled. Dancers who’d like to be considered for the upcoming season can send an audition video to
As a nonprofit arts organization, BalletMet’s resources are put to the test during local and global crises such as this.
We so appreciate our community’s continued support to help us and our fellow local arts organizations return to the studio and stage as soon as possible.
