1913: Woodrow Wilson is inaugurated the 28th president; Federal Income Tax takes effect; Tiny Broadwick becomes the first woman to parachute from an airplane; and in Paris the world premiere of Igor Stravinsky’s ‘The Rite of Spring’ causes riots. BalletMet and over 100 musicians of the Columbus Symphony collaborate on the 100th anniversary of this ground-breaking masterpiece just in time for spring...sans riots.
