Our development department is available to assist you with ways to give to BalletMet. For general questions about gifts, contact the development office, at (614) 586-8670. We encourage you to consider the following donor options:
Cash or Credit Card
Cash or credit card are often the most convenient ways of giving to BalletMet. These types of monetary gifts are fully deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Pledges enable a donor to plan a personal giving program that is both convenient and tax-wise. A pledge may enable a donor to consider a more significant gift than would have been otherwise possible. Terms for payment on pledges may be arranged with the development department.
Securities may be made as outright gifts or as a payment on a pledge. Stock certificates may be reassigned directly to BalletMet or may be transferred through the donor’s broker. The mean market value on the date of transfer will determine the value of the gift for tax purposes. It is best to contact BalletMet’s development department before a transaction is made.
In certain instances, it may be preferable from an estate, financial or tax-planning perspective to consider long-term planned giving as the ideal way to make a gift. This can be accomplished through various gift instruments such as a charitable remainder trust, gift annuities, charitable lead trusts and bequests. After consulting with your financial advisor, contact BalletMet’s development department.
