Carly Wheaton of San Francisco, California, is joining BalletMet as a Company member following an apprenticeship with The Washington Ballet’s professional Company. She danced for two previous seasons in The Washington Ballet’s Studio Company.
Before moving to the East Coast, Ms. Wheaton spent a season dancing for Ballet Memphis as a Trainee.
Ms. Wheaton trained with the Marin Ballet in California and at San Francisco Ballet School. This past summer, Ms. Wheaton danced in The Boathouse Project—an original production choreographed and produced by Julia Adam, set on Point Reyes National Seashore.
