Our drop-in classes at 322 Mount Vernon Avenue are for the casual learner and/or fitness enthusiast. We have offerings in various dance styles for teens, adults and seniors who’d like a more relaxed studio environment, as well as fitness classes for those looking to work up a sweat. Summer classes run from June through September and we offer a separate fall schedule that begins September 2, 2025

Adult Open JazzFor all the old-school jazz dance lovers out there this is the class for you. From Fosse to old Hollywood musicals, this class will combine classic jazz styles in an engaging and safe environment. Class will consist of a thorough warmup, across-the-floor exercises, and a fun combo each week. Original Broadway choreography might sneak into a few classes. All dancers are welcome, but please note it will be geared to an advanced beginner level. Join us and dance your heart out. Suggested attire: Comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. |

Musical Theatre Tap ClassThis open level class is for Theater lovers ages 12 to 95. Do you want to learn the tap styles of the great Fred & Ginger? Do you love to listen to all the Broadway classics? Whether you have never tapped before or are an old pro, this open level will provide foundations as well as style while dancing to Broadway’s best. Senior TapPut on those dancing shoes and come have a fun, knee friendly tap class. This slow paced, expectation-free class will help with balance and memory which is imperative for health as we grow older. This class will cover basic tap terminology, while discovering interesting rhythms that are easy to remember to the classic music of the 40s, 50s and 60s. For both the new and old experienced hoofers, this class is a great start or reintroduction to a fabulous dance style while getting a great workout. Seating will be provided when needed.
