Every BalletMet donor is part of a world-class arts organization, supporting our vision “To create and foster world-class art and artists that inspire Columbus and beyond.”

Donors at the Performance Partner level and above participate in behind-the-scenes programs featuring dancers in rehearsal and comments & questions with Artistic Director Remi Wörtmeyer and other artists. Special Events like The Nutcracker Ball bring supporters together to celebrate while raising funds for BalletMet.

Donor Levels

We welcome individuals to enjoy benefits at these patron levels:

  • Underwriter  $10,000+
    Benefactor benefits plus:
    – Enjoy a BalletMet studio or theatre experience customized to your interests.
  • Benefactor    $5,000+
    Champion benefits plus:
    – Visit the BalletMet studios for a personal rehearsal observation.
  • Champion   $3,000+
    Director’s Circle benefits plus:
    – Join other donors to observe rehearsals for The Nutcracker in early December.
  • Director’s Circle   $1,200+
    Performance Partner benefits plus:
    – Invitations to Director’s Circle programs: watch company dancers rehearse, learn about upcoming ballets and enjoy a reception with dancers, artists and other patrons.
    – BalletMet Box Office concierge services.
  • Performance Partners   $600+
  • Star Subscribers   $300+ with season subscription
    Enthusiast benefits plus:
    – Invitations to Inside BalletMet, interview-style discussions with creative partners exploring their roles in bringing our ballets to the stage, followed by a dessert reception.
  • Enthusiast   $150-$599
    – Playbill recognition throughout the season.
    – Tax-deductible contribution.

Patron levels are based on total giving each season and extend through the following year.

Many donors choose to plan their giving and can make a pledge to be paid later or set up monthly credit card payments throughout the year. Your employer may offer to match your charitable contributions. Donors can also give by transferring securities to BalletMet. BalletMet honors donors who choose to include BalletMet in their estate plans. Members of the Encore Society are recognized for their commitment to BalletMet’s future.
