ACADEMY DIRECTOR
As BalletMet’s Academy Coordinator & Assistant to the Academy Director, Jane Perera helps oversee the Children’s Division, Student Division, and BalletMet’s scholarship programs. She was a student in the BalletMet Dance Academy for ten seasons until graduating in 2017. While in the Academy, she performed a variety of children’s roles in productions with the Company, her favorite of which being Young Clara in The Nutcracker. She graduated with honors from The Ohio State University in the Spring of 2021, double-majoring in Arts Management and History of Art. She is thrilled to have returned to BalletMet.
