ELI RAPHAEL GRUSKA was born in Los Angeles, California, where he began his formal dance training at The Marat Daukayev School of Ballet. He attended summer programs at the ABT JKO School, San Francisco Ballet School, Paris Opera Ballet School, and The Royal Ballet Upper School in London, where he accepted a place for full time training in 2015. Upon graduation in 2018, he joined the ABT Studio Company in New York City, where he performed works by Lauren Lovette, Ma Cong, Ethan Steifel, Stefanie Batten Bland, and Stanton Welch. When the pandemic subsided, he danced with Houston Ballet for two seasons, performing works by George Balanchine, Arthur Pita, Trey McIntyre, and Cathy Marston among others. He is thrilled to be joining BalletMet for the 2023/24 season.
