Brad Ostroff

Teaching Artist

Although trained when younger, Brad did not resume formal dance training until he joined the Central Ohio Theatre community.  Still active, he continues to work with local companies such as CATCO, Short North Stage, and Butterfly Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital.   He joined BalletMet, specializing in tap, jazz, and ballet as well as other studios around Columbus.  Shortly after, he joined Zivili, a professional dance company specializing in dances and music of the Southern Slavic Nations.  As a company member, Brad was involved with their outreach education programs and participated internationally with the United Nation’s sponsored seminars for university students in war torn nations. He also toured Croatian Refugee Camps and homes for the elderly. Before joining the education department at BalletMet, Brad was a faculty member of BalletMet’s dance academy teaching ballroom, tap, and yoga.  Brad is a certified trainer in group exercise and practical yoga through AFAA.
