Rachael Parini

RACHAEL PARINI, originally from Snellville, GA, trained at The Lilburn School of Ballet, and the Atlanta Ballet. In 2005, she was awarded a scholarship to The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, PA. In 2006, Rachael placed 3rd at the Youth America Grand Prix.

During a 2008 visit to China, she was invited to train with the Shanghai Ballet. In addition, she taught master classes in local schools.

Mrs. Parini holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, with minors in both International Affairs and Italian. She was a National Merit Scholar, and a former intern with the federal government.

Rachael has danced professionally with The American Repertory Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and The Washington Ballet, where she performed various classical and contemporary works. She has danced featured roles in ballets such as Graham Lustig’s Vista, William Forsythe’s In The Middle Somewhat Elevated, Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena, Kirk Peterson’s Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s Rubies, Serenade, and Theme and Variations and Christopher Wheeldon’s After the Rain.

Following her 2022 Bipolar 1 diagnosis, Rachael has become an outspoken mental health advocate.
