Amélie Freeman

Amélie Freeman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and began her formal classical training at Le Jeune Dance Academy. After graduating high school in 2021, she joined the trainee program at BalletMet. During her time with BalletMet’s trainee program, Amélie performed in Coppélia  and George Balanchine’s Western Symphony, as well as the role of second Odalisque in Le Corsaire and the principal role in Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht. Amélie had the opportunity to perform with the company in Edwaard Liang’s Tributary, Dorothy and The Prince of Oz, Swan Lake, and Gerard Charles’ The Nutcracker. Amélie is excited to begin her first season with BalletMet 2.
