Born in Dallas, Texas, KYLER VALENTINE started dancing at the age of 8. For 9 years, he danced at the Ballet Academy of Texas, before moving to BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio to become a trainee. While a trainee, Kyler was able to perform a variety of ballets and leading roles such as Basilio in Don Quixote and Birbanto in Le Corsaire, George Balanchine’s Western Symphony, and the Principal Male in George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco.
He has also performed in BalletMet’s company productions including Edwaard Liang’s Dorothy and The Prince of Oz, Gerard Charle’s The Nutcracker, Edwaard Liang’s Swan Lake, and Edwaard Liang’s Romeo and Juliet.
Kyler is very excited to start his professional career as a BalletMet 2.
